Saving Lives
The play, Saving Lives, was co-authored by Dr. Harry Kantrovich and myself. It highlights the stories of Medics, Corpsmen, Nurses, Doctors, and Dustoff Pilots who served during the war in Vietnam. This play will have a dozen actors portraying the veterans who gave us their stories. It will premiere at the Castaways Theatre, located in Woodbridge, in May 2026, as part of Memorial Day recognition, and run for three consecutive weekends.
Dr. Harry Kantrovich, himself a retired Navy Master Chief Petty Officer, is a nationally recognized playwright, having created such great plays as: Shoa, The Greatest Generations Speaks, based on Mr. Tom Brokaw’s book, and Voices From Vietnam, just to mention a few of his works. He has been personally involved in directing and producing dozens of other plays within the Virginia community. We believe that Saving Lives will be extremely well received, especially within the veteran’s community, and is a fitting tribute to those extraordinary men and women who saved lives both on and off the battlefield.
